Founder and current Managing Partner of DPE Legal. With more than 27 years of experience in private law, business law and arbitration, he leads highly complex legal matters and strategically supports companies in managing and resolving their legal challenges.

Law degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, with a Master's in Intellectual Property and New Technology Law from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, Spain. He also holds a specialization in Financial and Business Law from U.P.B. and a Master's in Commercial Arbitration and Investments from Universidad de Alcalá, Spain.

He served as President and member of the Board of the Medellín Bar Association. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels at leading universities, including EAFIT, Universidad del Rosario, Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad de Medellín, Universidad Icesi (Cali), Universidad Católica del Oriente, and Universidad CES.

His career is also defined by significant academic work and the dissemination of legal knowledge nationally and internationally. He has been invited as a speaker at leading academic and industry forums, including those organized by ANDI, Fenalco, the Medellín and Manizales Chambers of Commerce, the Medellín Lonja and the National Commercial Law Congress — sharing analysis and perspectives on matters of high impact for the legal and business community.

In 2008, the academic community of Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana awarded him the "Distinguished Professor" recognition for his outstanding contribution to legal education.

Author of "El concepto de contrato, particularmente en los contratos de adhesión y del consumo" and co-author of "Presente y futuro del derecho mercantil" — both reference works in legal doctrine in Colombia and abroad.

After years of collaboration with prestigious firms and renowned attorneys in the city, he decided to dedicate his extensive experience and knowledge to serving Colombian and international entrepreneurs doing business in Colombia — founding and leading DPE Legal.

Law degree from Universidad EAFIT, specialization in Tax Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and Master's in International Taxation from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, Spain.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Antioquia Tax Studies Center (CETA) and of its High Court Interventions Committee, where he has participated in the analysis of matters of constitutional and tax significance before the Council of State and the Constitutional Court.

He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels at leading universities, including EAFIT, CES, Universidad de Medellín, Universidad Católica de Oriente, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and Universidad CEIPA.

He has also lectured at academic and industry events organized by the Medellín Chamber of Commerce, the Manizales Chamber of Commerce, the Medellín Bar Association, and the Antioquia Tax Studies Center (CETA) — addressing topics in tax law, corporate law, real estate law, and investment.

His article "Análisis de la Ley de Garantías Mobiliarias" has established itself as a key reference in the field and has been cited in Colombian and international legal doctrine.
